The Two Timers

The Two Timers - 8:30 pm
HEY Yall! We are 2 hometown girls from Clover, SC. We have been best friends since High School and have always been big dreamers. After attending college for 2 yrs we dropped out to follow our hearts to become COUNTRY SINGERS! We moved to Nashville, TN on Oct. 14, 2005. At first we were servers at Sam's Sports Bar and quit to become JANITORS! Our true job and what we love the most is being singer/songwriters. We have spent a lot of time practicing to develop our unique sound. We pray every day that God will use us and our talent to glorify Him. Our dream is to spend every night with our FRIENDS "fans" while singing our music. We want our lyrics and melodies to inspire those who hear it and to let them know that DREAMS COME TRUE!!! See them Friday nights at 7pm CST on CMT’s Can You Duet.  www.myspace.com/thetwotimermargaretjulia

Down The Line

Down The Line - 9:00 pm
Chicago’s Down The Line continues to demonstrate that you don’t need electricity to generate real power. Their music delivers mighty hooks and harmonies within smart songcraft and truly shining vocals. It’s an acoustic mix—guitar, mandolin, violin, harmonica and djembe, driven by a lone-electric bass—that the Chicago Sun-Times praised as “an organic blend of rollicking pop.” However you label them, Down The Line creates music that’s pure, unique and unforgettable. Band members Levi Britton (acoustic guitar, vocals), Derek Fawcett (djembe, vocals), Dan Myers (harmonica, mandolin, violin, vocals), and Dave Rothkopf (acoustic guitar, bass, vocals) formed Down The Line in Chicago in 2001. Down The Line is currently on tour in support of their new album. They are not to be missed.

Joey and Rory

Joey and Rory - 9:30 pm
Determined to find her place in hallowed halls of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Joey and her songwriter husband Rory Feek recently auditioned for, and are part of, the new CMT/American Idol tv show "Can You Duet.” Remaining true to who they are and to the music they love, Joey and Rory are sure to poised to be one of America’s next great country music duos. As the other half of the husband/wife country music duo Joey+Rory, Rory is a true American storyteller. As a songwriter, he’s written three 1 records in the last few years (Blake Shelton’s “Some Beach”) and has cuts by Kenny Chesney, Randy Travis, Terri Clark, Mark Wills, Reba McEntire, Waylon Jennings, Lorrie Morgan, Buck Owens, John Michael Montgomery and Charlie Pride to name a few.

Anne McCue

Anne McCue - 10:00 pm
Anne McCue's career has covered punk, Lilith Fair, Australian awards and Vietnam. She has released her fourth solo album, Koala Motel  to critical acclaim and has recently co-produced two albums by other artists - Stephen Rowe and Leila Florentino. She has appeared as guest guitarist/vocalist on albums by Michelle Shocked and Gina Villalobos. Going in with the philosophy of some of Anne's favourite three piece bands she played the guitars, Dusty Wakeman played bass with Dave Raven on the drums. The three jammed on the material, some of which McCue was still writing at the time. The album has received critical acclaim from such publications as Billboard, Entertainment Weekly and XM Satellite Radio (Top 5 Album of the Year) and was picked by Bob Harris of the BBC as his favourite album of 2004.
